w e i v r e v O AI AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP I A d IN THE FOOD SECTOR n a l a t i g i D e t a r Through the support of EIT Food, the JA Europe Deep Tech/AI Programme aims to address the skills and e l e innovation gaps in the Agri-Food sector by implementing a cutting-edge initiative aligned with the EIT c c Competency Framework and Digital Deep Tech Initiative (DTTI). This programme will equip 18,000 A students aged 16-25 in VET, secondary schools and higher education institutions with essential skills, including AI, technology management, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving to support more d innovative and sustainable agri-food systems, across ten European countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Czech e v r Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and Ukraine. e s r e d In line with the European Commission’s Digital Education Action Plan, the initiative focuses on preparing n U youth for a digitally driven future by enhancing their AI and deep tech capabilities. The programme e h promotes inclusivity, offering students from underserved regions access to high-quality digital education t r and empowering them with the critical skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. e w o p The initiative also aligns with the EIT DTTI objectives, fostering leadership, entrepreneurship, and m E innovation within the Agri-Food sector. By building a workforce skilled in AI and deep tech, the programme addresses both the immediate and future needs of the sector, contributing to the European Green Deal’s sustainability goals.
